🧸🌸 02.07.2025 – Pink Day at School
There are some days that arrive
dressed not just in color, but in pure joy—and for Siri, Pink Day was
one such day.
The moment her class teacher
announced it on June 30th, Siri’s little heart latched onto it with
uncontainable excitement.
“Teacher told us to come in pink attire!” she repeated all day, her voice
sparkling with anticipation.
And then the day came.
She woke up earlier than usual,
tucked herself eagerly into a bright pink outfit, hugged her pink teddy (whom
she lovingly calls Pinky), and marched off to school beaming.
The campus had transformed into a
pink wonderland. Every corner echoed with shades of rose and magenta. From
Nursery to UKG, every child wore pink like a badge of belonging. All the pink
items the children brought from home were thoughtfully displayed in a special
celebration room. And class by class, they posed for photographs—tiny blossoms
blooming under a bubble of happiness.
Later, in their classrooms, the
children immersed themselves in pink-themed crafts. Siri came home clutching a
handcrafted butterfly, its wings fashioned from pink paper and pride. She held
it up like a trophy to each of us at home, her eyes glistening with delight.
The butterfly wasn’t just a craft—it was proof of a day she had lived fully, a
day where every small detail mattered.
That evening, her school’s head
miss shared pictures from the celebration. Siri, upon spotting herself in one
of them, narrated every moment to me again—with laughter, with movement, with
wonder—before drifting into sleep, still wrapped in pink memories.
🌼 A moment to keep:
In Siri’s pink-hued world, I saw the reminder we all need—sometimes,
happiness is simply about showing up with your favorite teddy, in your favorite
color, and letting joy carry you through the day.
